How it works

  1. Find. jobfishing gathers new jobs from public job boards and company career pages and keeps them current.
  2. Score. It reads each posting and your CV and profile, judges skills, role, seniority and field, and turns that into one score so jobs can be compared.
  3. Act. You keep the good ones, get a tailored CV and cover letter, and track every application. With your AI agent you can also have it fill in applications through your own Chrome, with you reviewing before anything is sent.

The same scoring is available to your own agent. It can crawl other markets into a database on your computer, score the jobs there, and save the best to your jobfishing account. The tools are open source: github.com/leoqingyu/jobfishing-ai.

Questions

What is jobfishing?

jobfishing (jobfish.ing) is a free AI job search service. It collects open jobs in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany and the Netherlands, scores each one against your CV and profile, and keeps your saved jobs and applications in one place. It also ships open-source tools that let your own AI agent (Claude Code or Codex) run the same kind of search for any country.

Is jobfishing about fishing jobs?

No. The name is a pun on fishing for jobs. If you are looking for jobs in the fishing industry, this is not that site.

Was jobfishing called JobMatchFlow?

Yes. jobfishing was called JobMatchFlow until October 2026. The old address, jobmatchflow.com, redirects to jobfish.ing. It is the same service.

Is jobfishing free?

Yes. Using the app is free, and so are the open-source agent tools (MIT licence). Your own AI agent or model provider may charge you for the work it does.

Which countries and cities does it cover?

In the app: all of Switzerland and Luxembourg, plus the metro areas of Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart in Germany, and Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. With the open-source agent tools you can also crawl other markets, such as Hong Kong, the UK or the US, into a database on your own computer.

How does the scoring work?

Each job is judged on four things: how well your skills match, how well you could do the core work, whether the seniority fits, and whether your background fits the field. A fixed formula turns the four judgments into one score from 0 to 100, so scores are comparable across jobs.

Does it apply to jobs for me?

Only if you ask it to. With the agent tools, your AI agent can prepare tailored CVs and cover letters and fill in applications through your own, visible Chrome, and you review before anything is submitted. Nothing is sent without you.

Is my data private?

Your CV and profile are used to score jobs for you. Jobs you save from your own crawls stay private to your account. See the privacy policy for details, and the disclaimer in the open-source repository for what runs on your own computer and what leaves it.

How do I use it with Claude Code or Codex?

Paste one line into a terminal and restart your agent; the AI agents page has the line for macOS, Linux and Windows. Then ask it to find jobs.
